Tatiana Nikiforova

Tatiana Nikiforova is an emerging markets finance professional with over 14 years of infrastructure finance experience in global emerging markets. In her current role as Investment Director at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (Global Energy Alliance), she supports investments and programs expanding clean energy access across Africa and other emerging markets. Global Energy Alliance builds transformative public, private, and philanthropic partnerships to end energy poverty and accelerate green economic opportunity, and serves as a key implementing partner of Mission 300 - the global initiative to provide 300 million people in Africa with electricity access by 2030. Prior to joining Global Energy Alliance, she spent more than a decade at a leading emerging markets transaction advisory firm, where she facilitated close to $1 billion in capital commitments from DFIs, multilateral development banks, and private impact investors for infrastructure transactions across 30+ countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Tatiana holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and an MA in International Affairs from George Washington University.
