Sheku Fantamadi Bangura

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Finance, has over thirty years of experience in economic and development management at national and international levels. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Chairman of the National COVID-19 Response, and a senior Advisor at the World Bank for a decade. His expertise spans public finance, debt management, and economic governance, with roles at the West African Monetary Institute and the IMF. Mr. Bangura holds a Master’s Degree from McGill University and the American University and a bachelor’s degree from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
