 Reta Jo Lewis is a global business advisor, corporate director, and lawyer with more than three decades of experience in international trade, export finance, government affairs, and subnational diplomacy. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Rare Earths Americas, where she chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Most recently, Lewis served as the 27th Chair, President, and CEO of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, where she oversaw $135 billion in financing authority and advanced U.S. competitiveness in critical minerals, clean energy, and key technology investments. During her tenure, she established more than 25 international co-financing agreements with foreign export credit agencies (ECAs) and commercial lenders, and negotiated seven government memoranda of understanding, strengthening economic ties with partners across the G7, Quad nations, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), ASEAN, sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Lewis has served in three presidential administrations. She is Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council on Advanced Manufacturing and Value Chains and is a Lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
