Farai Gundan is a trailblazing leader in fintech, mobility, and emerging markets. A 2024 Echoing Green Fellowship Finalist and Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, she holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University (Mason Fellow) and an MBA from Florida A&M University. Farai has shaped global discourse through Forbes, Essence, and CNN, and played a key role in fintech unicorn Flutterwave’s South African expansion.

As Founder of Bhadala, a Detroit-based startup incubated at NewLab at Michigan Central, she is developing a smart, mobile-first Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform that integrates transit services, digital payments, and AI-powered insights. Committed to financial and transportation equity, she is also Co-Chair of the Alumni Network of Harvard Women, Africa, driving impactful change across finance, mobility, and sustainability.
