Alexandria J. Maloney, MPA is a global leader designing future-ready institutions to equip leaders for complex challenges through cross-sector collaboration and systems change. She serves as President of Black Professionals in International Affairs, where she founded the Colin Powell Leadership Institute and expands global engagement for people of African descent in foreign affairs. She serves as a senior non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center, Director of External Affairs at the Kettering Foundation, and a visiting lecturer at Cornell University. A 2025 Lewis Latimer Fellow, Alexandria was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent” and a Forbes 50 Champion for her impact across the global Black and Brown professional ecosystem.

She holds a B.A. in International Affairs from John Cabot University (Rome, Italy), an M.A. in International Studies from Morgan State University (Baltimore, MD), and an MPA from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). She serves on numerous international advisory boards and community-based organizations, particularly for women and girls. Her interests span a host of foreign affairs, defense, diplomacy, inclusion, arts and culture, youth, women, and public engagement matters.
