Abbey Ogunwale is the founder and Chief Global Strategist of Defined Impact Group (DIG), a global consultancy that promotes collaboration among governments, corporations, and multilateral institutions. In addition to his role at DIG, Abbey serves as a Strategic Advisor at the One Earth Future Foundation (OEF), where he previously held the position of Vice President of Strategic Growth and Business Development, focusing on expanding OEF's global reach and developing sustainable solutions in fragile regions.

Before joining OEF, Abbey was an Advisor and Partner at Perch Perspectives, leading business development teams across international organizations in humanitarian efforts, development, and peace initiatives. He is also a Strategic Partner to the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, contributing to national development initiatives.

With over 15 years of experience, Abbey has successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects funded by bilateral and multilateral donors across Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. His expertise includes democracy and governance, global health, renewable energy, agriculture, and economic growth. He has contributed to project management at the World Bank and researched extractive industries at the International Finance Corporation. Notably, Abbey served on the U.S. Trade Advisory Committee on Africa in 2019.

Abbey holds a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, a Master's in Project Management, and a Ph.D. in Public and Business Administration. He has also completed executive education programs at MIT Sloan, Harvard Business School, and Lund University.

He is affiliated with several boards, including the Interchurch Organization for Development Cooperation, the Trade Advisory Council on Africa, the Loudoun County Family Advisory Services Board, the World Computer Exchange, the United Nations Association, the Asia-Africa Supply Chain Transform Health Alliance, The Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican, the Washington Institute for Foreign Affairs, and the Black Professionals in International Affairs.
